How soon do we need to book you?
Simply put… ASAP! If you have a date secured, it’s not worth the risk of your date becoming unavailable with me. A £250 deposit and exchange of contracts is all it takes to concrete your date in my diary.
Can we meet before our wedding day?
Of corse! 9/10, people get the date secured in the diary and we meet up a month before your big day. It’s usually helpful to have a walk round the venues together and pick out your favourite locations!
If you want to meet before booking, that’s absolutely fine too. Just use the contact form on my website and we can get something arranged.
I’m also more than happy to have a chat on the phone!
What are your rates and what packages do you offer?
Have a look at the ‘prices’ page on my website. I’m completely open with my pricing but if you don’t see a package that suits your needs, contact me and we can sort something out!
Can I customise a package?
Additional hours, photographers, hand finished prints, can all be added on an “a la carte” basis as desired.
How long do you photograph our wedding?
The typical package covers from bridal prep to just after your first dance! But if your day is slightly different to the norm, nothing is set in stone!
How many photos will we get?
400-700 images normally but every wedding is different and you may even get more!
Can family & friends view and/or buy images?
Of corse! About a 4-6 weeks after your big day, I will send you a gallery of your images where you can download any image without any extra payment and I offer a service where you can purchase prints which are very high quality and quick delivery! It’s up to you at that point, who you share the gallery with :) The gallery works on any PC, Mac, Phone or Tablet.
If we get an album, how does the process work?
4-6 weeks after the wedding you will receive a gallery of your photos. Within that gallery you can favourite all of you most liked photos and that shares a list with me. I then design your album and before it goes off to print, I send over a proof copy for you to approve or request changes.
I will keep you posted along the way with delivery predictions! But basically, the quicker you are at getting back to me with your favourites, the quicker I can start designing!
Do you require a meal on the day?
Yes – Myself and anyone I am working with will require a meal.
Most of the time, couples just add 1 or 2 extra meals to their numbers and we eat at the same time as you and your guests in a separate room so that we don’t miss anything!
How far will you travel?
I’ll travel anywhere! Give me the full details of where and when and I can provide a quote accordingly.
Do you charge travel costs?
Completely depends on where your wedding is taking place! There will be no hidden costs and everything will be quoted for up front.
Can we just have 1 photographer?
Yes of course. The main reason why most wedding I photograph is with 2 photographers, is because more angles and locations can be covered. But I’m quite capable of covering your day myself!
If you only want 1 photographer, please contact me and I can offer a custom quote for a specific package.
Is this your full time job?
I’m a full time commercial photographer and videographer and have been for 16+ years. My commercial work can be seen at http://www.c1.media if you’re interested!
I photograph 4-8 weddings every year which is a nice number as it keeps it fun and fresh!
Do you do video too?
No. My only focus on the day is providing you with lots of great photos of your big day and couldn’t possibly do that to the best of my ability whilst filming too! I’d happily refer you to videographers I know and trust.
What will you wear?
We will dress appropriately to blend in with your guests – This is normally a suit or shirt and smart trousers!
I hate posing for photos! Do I have to?
You don’t have to do anything! It’s your day! My style of photography is very natural and ‘candid’ but it’s always nice to get some posed photos. But when I say posed, I keep it to a minimum and a lot of my customers say they were so surprised at how relaxed it was!
